Jude Adams, known as "J00D_3UG", is a moderately successful video game live streamer. He is notable for his pink, cutesy aesthetic. He also has a bachelor's degree in computer science and lives in a nice apartment with his boyfriend Tyler and his pet cat Marmalade.


Appearance

Jude has fluffy, chin-length dark blonde hair, blue eyes, and a pale, freckled complexion. He is short in height and has a chubby build. He almost exclusively wears pink, dressing himself in cutesy, “kawaii” outfits and accessories. His nails are also often painted pink.

For his gaming live streams, Jude wears a specific outfit which consists of a pink t-shirt with a cat design overtop of another white t-shirt, light pink sports shorts, light pink and white striped thigh-high socks, pink canvas lace-up trainers and a pair of cat-ear headphones. Occasionally, he also wears a hoodie featuring asymmetrically coloured pink and blue sleeves, a white body and a yellow hood.


Personality

Jude is an optimistic, energetic, happy-go-lucky person. He speaks cutesily, often giggles while talking, and can ramble a lot. He loves bringing joy to himself and others through his whimsical antics and rarely has a serious demeanour about him.

Despite doing his best to be as welcoming as possible, Jude is inwardly shy and anxious around people he doesn’t know well, but masks it by exaggerating his happy-go-lucky personality. He tends to speak faster than usual and giggles more frequently. Jude does this during his streams, putting on this exaggerated persona for his audience to work around his nervousness.

Around people he is closer to and trusts, Jude still displays similar speech mannerisms and personality but is much less nervous, so it is less exaggerated and forced. He is notably more mischievous and may lightly and affectionately tease or pull small, harmless pranks now and again, but will stop if told to or if it causes upset to the receiver. He never does this with people he is not close to, wishing to avoid unnecessary conflict or upset towards others.

Jude cares greatly about others and their well-being, often taking it upon himself to try and help others and loves bringing smiles in particular. However, he is extremely stressed out by conflict, becoming anxious and easily overwhelmed, or simply bursting into tears if found in one. He remains genuinely apologetic and respectful if he has wronged someone, however.

Jude can come across as naive because of his mannerisms and optimism, often trying to see the good in situations and people to try and combat his shy, anxious temperament. This can make him more vulnerable to the exploits of ill-willed people, or lacking foresight for particular situational pitfalls.

He can also be more impulsive and whimsical in his decisions without completely thinking them through, being easily convinced and excitable about anything that sounds fun.

He is easily affected when things go wrong or don’t meet up to expectations but can also bounce back quickly, flitting quickly between emotions.

Despite enjoying the company of others, Jude will happily spend time alone immersed in video games or baking, often taking his time to recharge after social interactions.

He loves playing video games, especially cute-themed casual games, story-focused games or party games. Generally, he is pretty bad at anything that requires skill but still finds it enjoyable. He purely plays for fun and is not competitive.

Jude loves animals and cares for them a lot, but especially loves cats. He takes great care of his pet cat Marmalade.

Jude enjoys baking, as well as cooking in general. He originally picked up the hobby to save money on food, but found it very enjoyable and has become pretty good at it. He frequently bakes and favours making cookies, pastries and cakes.

He loves anything pink and cute, surrounding himself with anything and everything that fits his aesthetic. He collects all kinds of cutesy trinkets, figurines, memorabilia and plushies, and owns a pretty extensive wardrobe of clothes and accessories of the same style. Even mundane household objects such as kitchenware and cleaning supplies will be pink or cute if he can find such things.

Jude dislikes exercise but reluctantly does yoga daily at Tyler’s recommendation. He will often stall on it, however, sometimes completely “forgetting” to do it at all.


Backstory

Jude was raised by both his parents in the suburbs and had a moderately wealthy upbringing - not rich, but comfortable. He was born in America but his parents relocated to the United Kingdom when he was a toddler. He doesn’t remember his time in America because of this.

Within earlier school, bonding over their love for video games, Jude became close friends with Tyler, who essentially took him under his wing as Jude struggled to make friends with his peers due to his quirky mannerisms. Despite this, he still struggled to fit in with others, especially the rest of Tyler’s friend group, due to them being very sporty - something he was neither good at nor enjoyed much. In addition, his dedication to studying restricted the time he had to socialize in general.

His parents were strict and pushed him to succeed academically even from a young age, even paying for private tutoring as an extracurricular. At first, he was very driven to study, but the additional pressure made him burn out quickly, making it harder to motivate himself. Despite this, he went on to get the grades for the university he planned to attend to study a bachelor's in computer science.

During university, Jude and Tyler began dating. Unfortunately, their relationship was quickly strained due to Tyler’s focus on spending time with his new sports team, who took to harassing Jude because of his openly expressed gender identity and sexuality, as well as his appearance in general. However, despite the nastiness of his team members, Tyler was still determined to pursue sports and felt it necessary to continue associating with them on a surface level to achieve his goal, choosing to hide his own sexuality and their relationship in the process. Jude was hurt by this decision but agreed with Tyler that this arrangement would ultimately be a means to an end. The two reluctantly agreed to keep things lowkey between them to avoid it getting revealed, which led to Jude becoming more withdrawn. He learned quickly to keep to himself and focus on his studies rather than talk to his peers to avoid any more harassment.

During this time, they both still attended the university's gaming society together, serving as the only time they would meet on university grounds. Outside of that, the two would meet remotely or online whenever possible, not daring to hang out at one another’s dorms just in case any rumours started. However, despite their carefulness, Tyler’s sports team found out about his attendance at the gaming society, singling him out for being an avid gamer in itself, regardless of his relationship with Jude, which they never found out about. This led Tyler to quit the team altogether.

After completing his bachelor’s but not knowing what to do after university, Jude moved in with Tyler and got himself a job as a cat-sitter after being unable to land a job related to his degree after attending many interviews. While working this job he adopted his pet cat, Marmalade, on a whim from one of his clients, who was putting a litter of rescued kittens up for adoption. Tyler was surprised when he returned to his new home with a cat in his arms but ultimately accepted that Marmalade was here to stay and she grew on him very quickly. It took Tyler a little time to adjust to living with Jude, especially his way of decorating their new home, but after establishing a "pink zone", things ran a lot more smoothly.

After taking some time to settle in, Jude began streaming video games alongside his job because he wanted some extra income and, more importantly, wanted to try and pursue streaming as an actual career after becoming inspired by other streamers he watched. Eventually, his streams took off enough to become modestly successful, just enough so he could make it his full-time job. He decided to quit cat-sitting in favour of dedicating his time to his new career instead.


Present Day

Jude continues to live happily alongside Tyler and Marmalade in their apartment, able to live very comfortably thanks to their combined income, with Tyler earning the majority of it from his job as a fitness instructor and his revenue from winning esports tournaments, which is very lucrative. Jude continues to stream, still only being a small creator, but is more than satisfied with this as he likes the cosiness that having a smaller community has, as opposed to a large, overwhelming fanbase.


Relationships

Tyler Smith

Jude cares deeply about Tyler and always supports him in his endeavours. He is very affectionate towards him and will often go out of his way to plan cute dates, trips or nights in where the two will often play video games and watch films or videos together. Jude always accompanies Tyler when he has to travel for esports tournaments or panels. He also shows affection by preparing meals or baked goods for when Tyler gets home from his day job, which he greatly appreciates. Since Tyler is the busier of the two, Jude cherishes the time they can spend together when he’s not at work, training for esports or exercising.


Marmalade

Marmalade is Jude's pet cat. Jude loves her dearly and treats her very well, showering her with plenty of toys and cutesy pet furniture, matching his aesthetic. She often features on his streams as he loves to cuddle with her on his lap while he plays games. She frequently walks into the frame while he is streaming, so Jude’s chat always lets him know when they see her in the background. She is very precious to him.


Aster Bianchi

Jude and Aster are aware of each other through Tyler as a result of him talking about Aster to Jude, and for Aster as a result of his flirting to warn him of his existing relationship with him. They haven't met each other yet, however. Jude is very curious about Tyler's client and crush, especially after all the conversations the two have had about him terrorising Tyler instead of working out. Jude finds it very amusing that Tyler's getting flirtingly teased by his client, and also that Aster is shirking his exercise to do it.


Unnamed Parents

Jude’s parents were strict and emotionally negligent, essentially only caring if he turned out successful or not. They had very high expectations and standards that Jude could not meet realistically. They pushed him to study exceptionally hard, which caused him to burn out and robbed him of many opportunities in his childhood, leading to issues regarding his confidence as an adult and generally feeling alienated by his upbringing. Once Jude moved out to go to university, he completely cut contact with both of them.
